NVC Dance Floors

What is NVC?
3 mins I Bridget Belgrave
Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a practical, learnable process for shifting out of our habits of judging, blaming and criticising into empathic awareness. This brings clarity and compassion into our connection with ourselves and with others.
This increases our ability to resolve conflicts peacefully - internally, at home, at work, and in the wider world - and to approach systemic change in a new way, with care for everyone's needs.
NVC trainers and facilitators work in more than 60 countries, with people of all ages and all walks of life.
Nonviolent Communication (NVC) was developed by Marshall Rosenberg (1934-2015) who took his teaching around the world, and founded the international Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) in 1984. www.cnvc.org
His book 'Nonviolent Communication - a language of life' has sold over seven million copies in more than forty languages.
Bridget and Gina studied and worked closely with Marshall in the 1990s and 2000s. They developed the Dance Floors as a method for people to learn, experience and teach his work.
