NVC Dance Floors

About Bridget & Gina
The NVC Dance Floors were co-created by Bridget Belgrave and Gina Lawrie. They met in 1996 shortly after they both trained intensively with Marshall Rosenberg, and discovered their shared experience in creating effective learning methods in training. They began to develop training designs, methods and tools that would transmit both the essence and the skills of NVC. The Dance Floors emerged in the process.

Once we created the NVC Dance Floors they grew and spread around the world. We often felt like we were holding an expansive umbrella - something above and beyond us.
Bridget has been working with individuals and groups in the field of personal development since 1980, and since 1996 as an NVC trainer and coach. Previously she co-directed an Alexander Technique teacher training course, worked in R&D with Effective Intelligence, and integrated Psychosynthesis into her work. She studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University. Since 2018 she has been immersed in IFS (Internal Family Systems) and integrates this into her work with individuals. Based in Oxford UK, Bridget works online and worldwide. She also paints and writes. Her novel ‘Zak’, is much loved by children and adults.
Gina has a background in psychology, social work and management development. She has been working as an independent organisation development consultant for over 30 years in private, public and not for profit sectors. In the past Gina taught meditation and it is the spiritual basis of NVC and the way that is integrated with practical skills that is what she most values. Based in Christchurch, Dorset, Gina introduced NVC in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. She has been an assessor of candidates wishing to become certified trainers with the Centre for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) since early 2000’s www.nvcassessment.eu Gina is now gradually reducing her workload seeking a new balance in her life.
