Published in 18 languages and used around the world.
A way to learn, experience and teach Nonviolent Communication (NVC)

Intention and attention
The 'dancer' begins at the 'intention ribbon', which represents their intention for compassionate connection and defines the space of the Dance Floor. They then walk through the colour-coded steps - in any sequence - to increase their clarity and empathy. A trainer, or practice group participants, support and guide their process. The 'dancer' can also be seated or be online, and move a marker on a graphic of the Dance Floor.
Awareness and choice
Seeing the cards on the floor enables the 'dancer' to make conscious choices about how to focus their attention so as to enhance clarity, compassion and connection. The whole group learns by seeing their choices, and hearing the challenges of finding non-judgmental language to articulate each step.

Active embodied learning
The 'dancer' walks from step to step, and experiences a new quality of connection as they proceed. The spatial layout embeds the learning of each of the 9 Dance Floors deeply, so the 'dancer' can access their learning in challenging moments in daily life, to improve their communication, to transform their inner critics, and to deepen self connection.
